Oooh, I see a Sharon Shinn series on here! I loved her books in the Archangel series and I especially loved her stand-alone novel Troubled Waters. Anyone who likes Sharon Shinn should read it. What is the Sun Sword series like? Is it similar to Archangel? Thanks for creating this blog! It's great to get so many suggestions about good books from someone who obviously loves to read!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of the Shifting Circle series (two books published so far). I think it's more urban fantasy (about shape shifters) than her other books. I also love her Archangel series...very, very good series! BTW, I read that she has turned in a sequel of Troubled Waters to her publisher so that will probably come out sometime in the next year.
ReplyDeleteMichelle West writes classic fantasy. There are six novels in the Sun Sword series and they are all quite long--around 700-800 pages each. Unfortunately, not all of them appear to be available as kindle books (the last book was published in 2004). She also writes fantasy using the names Michelle Sagara and Michelle Sagara West. She has written six different series some of which overlap each other.
